2019 Fall Coconut Cup Washington Ping-Pong Open will be held on October 5th, 2019 at the Great Washington Metro Area

All teams will be divided into two divisions according to the average rating of the best three players in each team. Division A – rating above 1800, but the top two players’ average rating must be under 2300;  Division B – rating below 1800.   The competitions for Division B and Division A will be held on Saturday October 5, 2019 at Maryland Table Tennis Center, 18761-Q North Frederick Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20879. As before, the competition is team-based, with 3 to 5 players each team and five matches each game, limiting 3 players from each Division A team for each game and up to 5 players from each Division B team for each game. The Coconut Cup starts with round robin in groups and then play-off.
  
Hainan Association, the organizer, is trying to create this opportunity for non-professional table tennis players, regardless gender and age, in Washington area to meet, to absorb more public attention to table tennis, and to raise some money to help students and school libraries in rural China or USA.
 
Here are some additional notes,
 
1. The participation agreement must be signed by each player at the front desk, so please read it first.

2. Three-player team format for Division A. That is, only three players are allowed in each team game. Division B may allow more than three players in each team game.
 
3. The time may be 9:00 am-9:00 pm and the final time be announced when we have the schedules ready. Please be in time. If your team is late, your team will lose one single match for each 10 minutes. That means, if your team is 30 minutes late, your team is 0:3 to the competitor.
 
4. The organizer will provide 3-star Butterfly/Double Happiness balls and the standard tables will be provided by the club centers. You may come to the center and check it ahead.
 
5. The organizer will help to purchase lunch if you need.
 
6. We will finalize the schedules after we get all teams registered.
